Maintaining Hard Disk Performance
If your computer is running slow run the disk defragment that is standard software with XP/me/98/95. Goto: Start/Programs/Accessories/System
Tools/Disk Defragmenter. Since hard drives are very large these days It might take some time for it to do a complete
defrag of your Hard disk. It is also a good idea to scheule this once a week when you are not using your computer ie:
in the wee hours.

Computer Operations
One more thing that will increase the performance is adding more memory, most all computers will support 1-2 gigabytes
of memory. You can check this by going to http://memory.com and find the model of your computer and it will give a list of memory. If you are unsure about the type of memory,
check with company that built your computer . It is VERY
important that you install the correct memory, installing the wrong memory can damage you system. The more things that
are open, the slower your system will run.

Maintenance Tips
Take off the case and vacuum out the dust, not doing this the dust can build up and cause a short in the main board which
could result in a very spendy repair. If you are not comfortable doing this most any PC repair shop can do it for
a small fee.
